Ataya is a one-man-band project of Natural Trance, where
the ancient meets the new to create explosive music.
The jaw harp, this ancestral instrument, traditional in many
cultures around the world, is put in the spotlight and up to
date with rhythms inspired by contemporary electronic
music.

With a simple and effective set-up, a surprising technique
for playing percussion pads with the feet and a very
developed playing of the mystical instrument, Ataya is a
unique, sincere and true performance. Everything is played
on stage in an authentic way, leaving a lot of room for
improvisation and surprise.
Ataya explores the ancestral sounds of the jaw harp
through the prism of Trance music. Ancient sounds mix with
the frenetic rhythms inspired by current techno and trance,
creating a psychedelic and tribal music.
It is an organic and evolving music, in constant search of
new sounds and rhythms, developing new combinations of
frequencies and polyrhythms, with the aim of bringing more
harmony into this world.

audience on a timeless journey where everyone is invited to
have fun, free themselves and dance together.
