Josune Alfageme, known artistically as Akatamara, is a DJ from the Basque Country (Spain), currently based in Erlangen.

Guided by emotion and curiosity rather than fixed genres, she moves along the edges between club-driven intensity and the depth of sonic experimentation. Her sound emerges from a desire to explore—tracing the contours of the unknown and letting textures speak for themselves.

Passionate about folklore and the endless ways tradition can be reimagined, she builds bridges between the organic and the electronic. Her sets weave together experimental techno, industrial, club, and bass. Each one blends organic percussion, deep basslines, and raw, shifting textures that flow seamlessly across genres, shaping atmospheres charged with sensitivity.

Every session becomes an immersive journey that transforms the dance floor into a collective space of presence and connection, inviting the audience to inhabit music as a shared sensory experience, carrying a message that resonates far beyond sound.

She has performed in various venues, including Astika Herria and Txarraska Gaztetxea, both self-managed countercultural spaces, and clubs such as Alarma Klub.
